Journey to the Motherland

Although Simon and I weren’t made in China, our RTW trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to our parents’ motherland.

As the world’s most populous country, China has developed quickly to maintain their foothold in world economics. You probably have at least one, two, or several items in your home that bear the “made in China” sticker. Yet, alongside their high rises and sprawling cities, China is still a country steeped in old tradition and culture.

Although I have traveled through China before (usually in the safety net of a tour group or a more competent family member), it would be Simon’s very first time there. How would I fare as the tour guide for the both of us?
